The joy of serving with MMM is multifaceted. First I would like to reiterate that the reason to do this work should be motivated by our understanding that we are to be doers of the word and not hearers only. However, I am sure that other reasons are present as well, such as seeking adventure and simply doing good deeds for mankind.
I am persuaded that once the work begins we are again made aware of God’s calling to do for those in desperate need. We are also given the question of who is more blessed, the villages we serve or us! The answer is all of us.
To describe the look of joy and gratefulness we see in the villages is beyond my writing ability. Yes, the numbers are staggering, 2800 wells etc. However, they are installed one village at a time.
