The 2014 Marion Medical Mission Team installed 2,510 shallow wells with a total of 2,650 completed by the end of the year.  The wells included over 600 in Tanzania and 500 in Zambia with the rest in Malawi.

This year was a great season.  There were no major problems or parts shortages.  This was our third year using a new electronic data collection system, based on hand-held Android devices with software developed by Hayden Boyd.  We were very pleased with the minimal problems encountered with it and it really will reduce the workload on the accountants tabulating the results and paying the builders as a result.  It also gives us a wealth of data we can use to make more improvements in our ongoing programs.
