The 2005 Marion Medical Mission Team installed 847 shallow wells with 138 more finished after they left, bringing the total to  985 wells. They also preached in a number of churches, presented workshops in several schools and assisted at the schools and hospital.

Again, this year the work went very well with less vehicle problems, we rented one extra vehicle to keep seven vehicles working in the field.  This year, the quality of the pump parts was much improved, although we had problems with pipe quality and with our aggressive installation plans (over 900 wells targeted), we had some challenges getting all the parts where and when we wanted. Even with these challenges, we were able to install everything that was built on time.
